Artwork description:

Pick 7 flowers on Midsummer night and put them under your pillow and you'll dream of the one you will marry, can't guarantee the result though ;o))

I used happy bright colors, to celebrate midsummer, a holiday we take very seriously here in the north.
This is a very traditional linocut, I do like the look of the cut, showing my hand in every print, carving the lino plate is a labour of love, and making it several colors, means that for every color, the print goes through the press again, time consuming, but oh so satisfying! My favorite printmaking technique and one that celebrates the art of handmade prints.

The piece of bright white heavy weight printmaking paper measures 45 cm x 50 cm (18" x 20") and the actual lino plate, the printed area measures 39 cm x 39 cm (15.5" square)

I have signed and numbered each print in this short edition of only 8 prints, you might not receive the number in the photo.

Shipping from my studio in Denmark, I have many years experience of packing my prints so they arrive safely, see my over 1020 reviews!

Thanks for looking and you are very welcome with questions.
