Original artwork description:

One of a series of five recent nocturne paintings, this one is all about a moody moonlit sky; a combination of a threatening sky with the normal serene atmosphere of a nocturne. There was originally going to be a much larger figure in the right foreground but I decided against that later on as it was starting to look like a Romance book jacket illustration! It is painted with a limited palette of blue/ greens and purple/greens, orange mixed into the colours to moderate the saturation.
