Surrounded by flowers, leaves, plants and petals, a midnight garden of wonder awaits! Magical moonlight shines in the sky. Wild roses and buds are delicately and expressively painted with a few brush strokes and marks, to give a 'dreamlike' quality to the piece. An impression of beautiful roses to allow your imagination to create the flowers and garden in your mind. Layer upon layer of paint build to give the piece a wonderful, glowing illumination. Oil pastel marks dance around the canvas to give a delicate hint of realism to the blooms. Painted on a navy/cornflower blue that I mixed from dreaming of blue light in my mind. The blooms compliment this background painted in Cream, Lemon Yellow, Teal, Prussian Blue, Sage and Forest Green. All accented with Rose Gold Paint. This paint catches the light once hung and will shimmer in the changing light of the day.
