This artwork is an emotional depiction of the realisation of something important in one's midlife: hence the name Midlife Illumination. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted with synthetic polymer acrylic and the surface is a professional-grade 12 oz canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is stretched onto an HD stretcher with dimensions 120 cm in height and 200 cm in width. The painting is painted white on the sides so there is no need for framing.

This work was created in December 2024.
