This picture is part of my 'Night Vision' project which features digital photographs created 'live' in situ with very little post production. Specially constructed lights and a lighting technique produce a unique effect on the subject. The lighting brings out features that are often missed in daylight hours. Middleton Top is in Derbyshire and this pictures a truck that used to be hauled up a hill via cables and a giant wheel (in the building you can see)taking freight from the Cromford Canal at the bottom to the railway at the top. Cromford and surrounding area was of great importance in the British industrial revolution.
