More change, and more pain. A knock at the front door. Not today, not ever. Alone and afraid, most bills unpaid. Simple pleasures, flowers in a vase. A warm bath, a good book. The clock moves slower, the traffic noise is a whisper. Relief in the form of a couple hours of sleep. maybe I will remember my dreams tonight.
