The exciting arrival of Mick Schumacher into Formula One came after he won
the Formula 2 championship in 2020. There was great anticipation to see
how Michael Schumacher’s son progressed in Formula One, and if he could
emulate his father’s success. It has been an extremely challenging start
to his career, as the Haas car has been hard to drive and the
performance has only allows the drivers to fight at the back of the
field. Mick however, has produced some memorable moments including his
lengthy fight against Max Verstappen in Hungary.
This piece shows Mick Schumacher racing out of the pits, and the blurred
uniforms of his mechanics either side of a car. The plain white Haas
livery contrasts well with the blue and red on the team mechanics and
pit area, creating an exciting contrast of colours. Mick’s yellow helmet
and TV camera add the final primary colour to this fantastic blend of
hues, creating a vibrant balanced composition.
