Original artwork description:

Another in the Metropolis series of paintings. Very similar to Metropolis 8 because my wife Anne liked that so much she didn’t want me to sell it! It is colorful and vibrant and looks really good in our Victorian dining room (see in situ photo). It would also suit a modern home I think, but needs a largish wall.

After the background was painted and allowed to dry more paint was added in several colours, using a palette knife

The construction is canvas stretched over a wooden frame which is not visible. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. Additional paint added directly to the canvas and spread with palette knives.
