Metropolis 10 continues a series of my paintings that have sold well internationally (Germany and the USA). Although they are abstracts they are reminiscent of skyscrapers and other buildings in a metropolis.
This is a vibrant and dynamic work that would suit a variety of settings, but may be most at home in a city apartment. After painting the background with a brush and allowing it to dry, additional paint was added either directly to the canvas and spread using palette knives or applied from a nozzle.
It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint brushed over canvas. More paint added and spread with a palette knife.
