Original artwork description:

Aviation: Meteor NF11 aircraft (WD686) undergoing restoration at Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, Old Sarum, Wiltshire, May 2017. This aircraft had a long flight test history with the RAE, and was displayed as part of the Imperial War Museum's outdoor exhibits at Duxford. Now in the hands of BDAC at Old Sarum, it is being lovingly restored back to it's original silver, and dayglo finish it wore in the 1950's, and I have captured it just as it arrived in sections, and prior to having it's old camouflage paint removed. This painting was shown at the Guild of Aviation Artists' Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London in 2017.
