Original artwork description:

Standing looking away from us. Grace puts a slight curve into her body. Standing strong. Discussions about things we like to eat and drink. Medicines leaving a metallic taste. It meant that a metallic grey pen got involved with the drawing as well as white conte pastel.

White conte pastel and silver grey pen on black paper 32 x 45 cm (c. 12 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

On the verso there is a coloured pastel drawing of Grace lying down which does not show through. It has been deliberately rubbed to give the impression of light movement. You can choose which side to show and even switch over with careful mounting. Some frames are available with glass back and front too!

Materials used:

Conte and soft pastel
