Artwork description:

'Mesmerised' is inspired by the view looking towards Blackfriars Bridge at dusk from Southbank, with the lights and reflections on the Thames.

This lithographic plate is the result of a happy accident whereby I produced the plate the wrong way round, (plates should be printed as a mirror image) hence the view looks correct. It has been hand printed with blue-black relief ink, and has all the marks and textures of going through the press before I realised my mistake. Please see last photo for close up views of the textures. However the end result is a deep blue textured scene. The plate is a polyester litho sheet which is a thin paper-like material with a coating on one side that resembles a stone surface and which can be printed from using oil-based relief ink.

This plate has been mounted on 220gsm cartridge paper and framed in a stained black wood frame.

Size: 53 x 42 cm (mounted on paper) / 40 x 28.5 cm (actual image size)

All artworks posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed which (usually!) arrives the next day after dispatch before 1pm.
