Merry Christmas in Ukraine is a pastel drawing/painting on cardboard.
The artwork is dedicated to Christmas traditions in Ukraine. Historically we have here in Ukraine this holiday on January, 7 as it has to do with the date of Julian calendar. In villages people used to go outdoors with handmade stars, they walked along the street singing carols, they visited neighbours getting in their houses where they were wined and dined with delicious Ukrainian food style. In fact, have you ever tried Ukrainian horilka? Never? And what about salo, borsch, vareniki with soar cream? Never in your life? Wow, you lost much in your life! Ukrainian art from Ukrainian artist.
