Artwork description:

An original design in my small edition of reduction Linocut prints inspired by mermaids and sea creatures. These underwater swimmers are dancing with Angel fish. I've added copper ink to the tails.

This is a limited edition of linocuts created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted. This means that the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Materials used:

Lino printed on 200g Snowdon Cartridge paper using linseed oil based inks
