This delicate pastel artwork is based on a cliff walk near Trevone Bay, Padstow in Cornwall. I am a life long lover of marine life and Cornwall and took great pleasure in recording the beautiful details of the shells from the beach as well as the heady view out to sea from this point. I'm sure if you stood here long enough you might see a mermaid slipping through the frothy waves.....
Produced with Caran D'Ache coloured pencils and a touch of gouache paint.
