Original artwork description:
Carved relief panel on oak. Made in two parts, painted with watercolour and Liquid Gold paint, finished with acrylic varnish. Third in a series of 'Mermaid' pieces. Begun in January 2015, I considered leaving it with a natural, oiled finish, and delayed painting it for years till finally deciding to paint it this month, May 2019.
