The fourteenth work in a series that explores metaphorical, imagined, and observed economic systems.
This work considers the influence of early cherry blossom blooms on the economy in Nagasaki. The budding flowers (HATSUZAKURA) build the urban structures, as anticipation of full bloom 満開 (MANKAI) crescendos.
The total size of the work is 71.5cm x 25cm, but it's two separate panels: 51.5cm x 25cm & 20cm x 25cm.
