The painting is made up of ten panels, five dedicated to men and five to women. Both the male and female five differ in shape and color. Men are represented by five faces, while women by six pieces that make up a human face, two ears, a nose, two eyes, a mouth. The colors alternate and repeat, giving unity to the entire composition.
The work is part of the "combinations" cycle.
