This painting is based on a black and white I found in my online searches for perfect chiaroscuro :) It's the first time I've ever painted a monochromatic piece and it was quite liberating! It turned out to be one of my favorite paintings - I feel it really captures a moment in time of woman lost in her memories, thinking of her lover's touch.
