Painting is also a desire to immortalize memory, to stretch it over time. Memory is expressed without rationality, like the act of painting. Each memory fragment is superimposed on the previous one with its own tone, its own emotional charge, its own space-time counter. The energies multiply with great brushstrokes seeking to extract the emotion of the present moment, before the memory is erased.
