Mirror of the soul.
As almost every artist I use symbols in my work. There have always been symbols in the art, because art is not a mirror that reflects the world directly. The art symbolism has both now and always built on spectators, which perceive the symbols simply and naturally, for they have also existed in their daily routines.
The main object of this project is the human face.
Soap bubbles as an image of maiden dreams, which are beautiful, but fragile and fleeting.
To paraphrase a quote from the famous Russian writer Chekhov, I observe a person's face as "a mirror of his soul". However, how often do we see a person's true face? A man mostly tries to keep his emotions a secret and shows others rather a mask. But sometimes, for a brief moment, the soul gets in the eye, and then you can see what's behind the mask. I have tried to capture those fleeting moments in my paintings.
