The artist has visited Giverny, France, numerous times, and has found this one of the most inspiring gardens to paint. This piece features the famous bridge and water lilies pond that Claude Monet painted in many of his impressionist masterpieces.

The artist used a variety of techniques with palette knives, brushes, and other tools to create a range of textures in this painting.
