This watercolor was made specifically to enter the Octopus Energy Climate Change competition called "Portraits from the Precipice".
Global warming is increasing the global temperature by the increase in greenhouse gases of CO2 being trapped in the Earth system. The rise in the global temperature causes the melting of Ice Sheets of Arctic and Antarctica.
This iceberg, in the rays of the setting sun looks like a small piece of butter on a piece of hot bread. A couple of minutes and it will melt.
