When I created “Melody Under the Moonlight,” I wanted to capture a sense of profound stillness and quiet reflection. I chose a cool palette, dominated by shades of blue, to evoke the soft, ethereal glow of moonlight streaming into the room.

The figure’s face is turned away, hidden in the backlight, allowing the interplay of light and shadow to express her mood rather than detailed features. The background, with its flickering candles and blurred piano, was painted with loose brushstrokes and palette knife techniques to suggest a trembling atmosphere.

I layered delicate white specks across the composition to create a sense of drifting stardust, enhancing the dreamlike feeling.

This piece is my whisper to the beauty of solitude and the soul of music.
