I fell in love with the innocent and precious quality of this girl’s pose, positioned as if she has a story waiting to be told. As the solo subject on a large canvas, she appears very vulnerable. At the same time, a textured, complementary coloured background is contrasted with a soft, detailed face. All these elements taken together highlight the girl’s importance as an individual as she stands out against the background. Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas.
