Melin means Mill.
In the area where I live there are many derelict water mills associated with the gun powder industry, used for Cornish tin or copper mining.
This is a small piece 14 x 16 x 7cm. Slab construction, textural surface decorated simply with a pale slip.
Weight - around 1kg with packaging.

Materials used:

Clay. Slips and oxides for decoration.
