"Melancholy in the sky" is part of my series of small paintings on paper.

Very graphic, using mixed media to give freshness to this small poetic landscape.

Colors, forms and shapes, graphism, lines and impasto. This one is a so nice contemporary interpretation of a landscape, with orange/red trees and beautiful turquoise.

The artwork is painted on a special paper for mixed media. The surface is varnished with a glossy varnish spray for mixed media painting.
