An oil on canvas contemporary landscape painting inspired by Exmoor in Somerset.
I spend time on this hillside walking with my children and the view soars across the moor towards Porlock. The heather and gorse grows in abundance and in the summer there are rich greens and blues of foliage against the hot colours of the flowers.
The title is about memory. I have walked here so often with family that it feels a very special place.
This is an abstract expressionist painting with lots of sweeping gestural marks, dripping paint and linseed oil.
The painting has been varnished with a matt UV protective varnish to protect against dust and sunlight.

I carefully wrap and package your painting and ship promptly and on the back are all the fixings so you can hang it directly onto your wall.
