In this harbour town
All seems to go well
As boats ride the swells
The Ship is the place
Where everyone used to meet
But
As it is the year 2020
Shops and bars stay empty
Lives are not the same
and finding new ways of living is the game.
As everyone travels from lounge to kitchen
to bedroom to kitchen
‘Outside’ is helping to cure the friction due the virus
All of this makes planet Venus so desirous
No track and trace
And freedom to embrace
But dreams, we know are ten a penny
And now everyone needs to keep their wits together
Facing the winter
Without being a sinner
No exceeding
six together
So, my friend.
