Original artwork description:

This work is part of the “Creatures” series

It is at the crossroads of the “Cosmos” and “Origin” series.  It portrays an imaginary world of fantastic creatures that you, the viewer, are encouraged to identify

The material I use is highly textured with a knife.  This gives the painting a vertebral column on which rests a ballet of ink and acrylic paint.

The paintings are a combination of materials, colours and a marriage of fluids.  It creates depth and softness; volume and transparency.  This gives the paintings their alchemy
