Taking a break from my slavish devotion to realism and color and experimenting with a new, stream-of-consciousness graphic style.
This piece started out as a paisley design, but then snakes came into the picture and the tragic figure of Medusa appeared.
The design wraps around the sides adding dimension and surprising new details depending on the angle at which the piece is viewed.
Wired to hang, but can also stand. Looks nice as a single piece, but can also be grouped with similar works.
Ink, primed cradled wood panel
