Original artwork description:

Medusa's face is made of patchwork of copper sheets and green stone eyes. What attracted me to create this mythological figure is the strength of her eyes. She was one of the gorgon sisters, formerly a beauty turned into a monster by Athena after she betrayed her celibate vows and married Poseidon. Whomever dares to look her directly on the eyes turns into stone. That power is what I intended to replicate in this artwork.
