Once again the artist represents the naked female body as immersed in a opened landscape suspended timeless atmosphere, dominated by crepuscular tones. The bright red of the marine woods highlights the turquoise of the drapery on which the model rests, in profile. The narrowed eyes and the impassive expression on her face convey a feeling of introspection and meditation.
