This artwork was conceived during a tantra retreat.
In a moment of pure bliss, of connection with all that is,
I heard the beautiful earthy voice of Tracy Chapman singing the lyrics that questions the status quo that is glued to our egoic beings.
The lyrics ask us: Would you change?

Perhaps this was the moment in which I realized that change doesn't happen by brute force, but rather in a warm, supportive environment where we dare to let go of our learned forms of self defense.

From then on, my paintings focus more on giving that spacious "held" feeling.

There is a signature on the front and on the back you will find a larger one plus the title and the year of making.

This painting has been on show in various galleries and is unstretched for now.
This means it will be send rolled up so that you can have it mounted at your favorite local art supply shop.
