Original artwork description:

The art work is part of the series "feeding Apophenia" which was shown in New York.
I created it in a time-consuming process in multiple layers. For this series I explored the surface of paper. My aim was to give the paper a visible history even before the actual drawing. I created a deep patina by combining a special folding technique with adding heat and liquid. The evolved structure was the foundation for the following art work. An amorphous, devouring but in itself connected structure.
