'Me Too...bzzzzz...' is an original drawing in pencil and inks on hand stained paper measuring 167mm x 120mm in size.
I hand stain the quality paper with tannins to give an aged appearance, the textures and shapes that reveal themselves during the staining process go a long way to deciding the nature of the work that will eventually appear on the paper... it's almost like photography...I see the image in the paper before I begin and the ink work feels almost as if I'm uncovering a design or shapes that are already there ....anyway, before I get too carried away with technique - I know many cats, who if they could speak would probably say 'I Love To Be Loved' (as would the beeeeee)
