“We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields” ― John McRae.
Last year we marked the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. As we approach this anniversary once again I have returned to the powerful words of poet soldiers. Their voices echo through the century and here in memoriam is my monoprint collage, illustrated by freehand using digital pen and pad and created using the words of one of the great war poems, In Flanders Fields.
This 8x8'', one-of-a-kind print artwork is printed on a Bockingford textured fine art paper, a paper that delivers a rich textured finish with an archival quality.
