I had just finished painting a canvas and my palette was still with many colorful paints. It was late afternoon and the light of day no longer collaborating, and the paint was going to go to waste. It was then that I saw my inspiration for this work. Yes, it was a visa wallpaper on the internet! I got a blank canvas and decided to paint. What struck me, and I should be so inspired that day, it is that it was painted with a thin coat of paint which seem to was printed! Painted alla prima! But it was first and unretouched! With a thin layer of ink oil! The only thing left to do now was a thin yellow coat of paint (veiling) applied over the dark hills in the background to burn this dark, but I had to wait for the oil dry to be able to do this.
I really like this work precisely because it was painted first hand, unvarnished and exactly the color I wanted.
Again put in the title of this work the same name of a song sung by Enya.
It is accompanied by the certificate of authenticity and the authorization of IPHAN (National Historical and Artistic Patrimony Institute) with the authorization to leave Brazil. With this authorization of IPHAN the cost of shipping is higher (Post Office), but the buyer will receive a work of art registered and legally regularized.
