Landscape of Auvergne, France.

At the turn of a narrow path, Anne Baudequin discovered this small shaded valley where a river flows. An ideal place to set up her easel for an afternoon.

This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.

The white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
