This mixed media landscape painting was influenced by the recent very strange weather that we have been having in the UK this Spring - warm sunshine one minute, followed by heavy sleet the next! The scene is an imagined one, based on memories of some of my travels. Despite the rain and hailstorm, the sun is also shining on some of the fields which seems to sum up the current climate, and not just meteorologically...
High quality archival giclee prints are available of this painting, printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper 310gsm – a lovely paper with a fine surface texture.
