This painting is part of a new series by Hunter called "The Blues" -- a collection dedicated to the color blue in all its depth, expressiveness, sensitivity and drama. Masked Man just feels right in today's Covid environment where masks are mandated and symbolize the vast visual and visceral revolution that has re-defined our lives. It's Hunter's abstract take on our global reality.
