Mask Three is one of a series of unique artwork sculptures made with stoneware clay and oxides. The surface is textured, unglazed but sealed. I have been studying the many traditions of masks made for disguise, performance or entertainment to create my own style which plays with the infinite variety of human expressions. As with my graphic illustrations I reference the myth of the trickster in ancient and contemporary cultures. Mask Three reflects the curiosity and playfulness of the trickster.

This mask is made in one piece, is lightweight and easily displayed on your wall, hung from a nail - no special fittings required.
