Original artwork description:

This mono print is from work made in Kenya - in the Great Rift Valley. It is a Monoprint finished with an oil painting on top depicting a Masai, behind which stand Cape Buffalo. The Buffalo is a very dangerous animal, but it is not a comment on that, it is artists license that have placed this beautiful woman in front of what appear as tame animals to the viewer. Her bright coloured clothing and cheerful face are part of this beautiful landscape and it's precious creatures. The print is made on Somerset cotton rag hand made paper, ready for framing as desired.

Materials used:

printmakers inks, oil paints and cotton rag paper
