Artwork description:

“Did you know that the iconic monarch butterfly weighing less than a penny, makes one of the longest migrations on Earth across continents.”

I wanted to express this migration with movement and yet precision. The circle design or ‘ripple’ effect brings this to life. I have used gorgeous papers, many with sheens and glitters & my signature 24crt gold leaf butterfly which adds to this effect and gives it sparkle.

Here is a new limited edition to add to the series. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows which give the artwork a life of its own and changes throughout the day in changing light situations.
