Fine line pen portrait of Martin Luther King JR.
Regularly drawing with pen enables me to call upon traditional draughtsman techniques, taking influence from Da Vinci’s sketches during the high renaissance.
Through an almost contradictory process of using this relatively modern art medium with a classical approach to mark making: I look to bring portraiture to the forefront of contemporary art.
