Marshy pool in Autumn
Coming back,
Now the trees have turned to many colours,
I paint with energy and flow,
Peaceful reed beds,
In the special Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.

Words and feelings of creating this original watercolour outside in nature.
Original impressionist watercolour on Indian cotton rag paper. I used wet on wet sporadic washes leaving areas of white, it is not white paint. I drop the many different shades for the trees and then paint by pressing and dragging the Japanese paint on for the marshy pool area. It was a wonderful day to paint outside and very calming.
