Original artwork description:

This mixed media piece is part of an ongoing series of works inspired by the beautiful marshlands of the Dee estuary where I spend much of my time walking. I started this painting after an autumn walk beside the marshes as the day drew to a close and night started to fall. Darkening skies and rich autumnal colours add to the atmosphere of this painting.
It has been created upon a professionally handmade box canvas of excellent quality. The sides are painted white and the piece is fitted with chord so is all ready to hang. It has been signed on the side and sealed with a matt acrylic varnish.
