This painting is one in a series of English landscape paintings, looking at a year in Kent , where I live and work.

This painting is part of my Year In Kent series, and is a wintery depiction of the marshes which are part of the coastal landscape in Kent. The colours are subtle, and the grasses are beautiful and move with the wind.

I use top quality Golden acrylic paints to create a rich, highly pigmented paint surface and I work in may layers to build up colours and colour complexity.

This 40x100cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
