This small, gem of a painting is part of a series of landscapes incorporating the horizon line. This was painted after a trip to Lincolnshire, where the flat Wash Marshlands carry many shades of blue and green. Layers of oil paint were applied, creating a glossy foreground and background, contrasting the distant matt horizon line. Textured, expressive and joyful!

This piece is painted in oils on a linen wood board using Michael Harding Artists Oil Colours and could be displayed framed or unframed. It is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
