Hebridean marshland with sea cotton. Machair leading down to grey cliff faces. Ochre Kelp beds below the cliffs. All sights and atmospheres that have inspired Pauls abstract 'Marsh to Machair'. Painted in acrylic and mixed media on board in a combination of texture pastes, fine blends of subtle colour and linework, the painting has plenty of rugged texture aswell as sweeping subtle colours.
